Purple Chalcedony Tapered Curl Pendant

This Ethiopian purple Chalcedony is a remarkable specimen cut by Bill Weidinger. It is botryoidal in nature – that is, it has a growth pattern that resembles a cluster of grapes. It is evident in both the light purple polka dots when viewed from the front AND by peering into the crystal cave from the back side. We took pictures with several different lighting setups – this pendant’s gemstone can shift quite strongly from purple to greyish purple and we wanted you to see both!
